This was really just a snapshot, but I like that both Ava and Julian are looking at the camera. Also it’s hard to capture Ava with a natural expression on her face these days. She’s always making cheesy faces when I bring out the camera, like squinting up her eyes or looking up towards the ceiling. So while this may not be technically great, it’s definitely a keeper in my eyes.

Welcome

Welcome to amygeekgrl’s photography blog. 
I’ve been taking so many pictures lately, I figured rather than crowding my existing blog with daily photos, I should just start my own photography blog. That way I can easily look back to see where I’ve been and, hopefully, how far I’ve come.
Most of the photos here will probably be of my kids, since they are my inspiration for getting into photography and the most easily accessible (most days) subjects.
